Carrier Management and Route Selection
China Network Logistics has an experienced, professional staff to manage carrier relationships, rates and service performance. Rates used in shipment optimization are continually updated to reflect current market conditions. The processes we employ enhance freight audit and payment, load tender and shipment tracking. All options are considered when the routing is designed and a shipment method is selected. Because the transportation and warehouse systems are integrated, the order loading required on a trailer with multiple stops can be communicated directly from and to the warehouse floor, ensuring the truck is on time along the route.
Multimodal Rating and Execution
China Network Logistics manages all transportation modes, including parcel, less-than-truckload (LTL), truckload, air, ocean and rail/intermodal. Using a sophisticated rating system, our logistics team recommends the best mode for a particular shipment and then executes that shipment flawlessly. Our transportation systems are integrated with the accounting systems of our clients so that transportation seamlessly merges into the overall financial reporting process.
Routing Compliance
China Network Logistics uses approved carrier lists based upon ongoing rate negotiations, performance ratings and other business criteria. By consolidating the carrier decisions at a centralized transportation center, compliance with carrier selection business rules is much higher, reducing deviations and transportation costs.
Visibility
China Network Logistics dynamically tracks customer shipments across multiple origins for multiple carriers. We can relate shipments to orders and order items so both transportation and inventory information is available to customer inventory managers. Each shipment, is electronically monitored to detect unplanned interruptions in movement. Shipping information is available via a single Web view, regardless of which carrier provides the status of the shipment’s location. We ensure timely, accurate and complete information visibility through aggressive management of data from carriers and within our own network.
